Part 1 of 2 about my 4th Great-grandfather, Samuel Henderson.  Raising a family on the frontier of Missouri in the early 1800's brought some unique challenges for the Henderson's.  This is just a bit about the influences that surrounded them near the banks of the Mississippi at that time.
